The research team specializes in the development of applications for electrolyzed water; synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, especially mesoporous silica materials; sensors, including quartz balances, optical sensors and electronic noses and tongues; and new, more sustainable processes. It is a multidisciplinary team with researchers from the areas of inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, biology, computer science and materials.
