21 Apr The Stanford ranking includes 18 researchers from ThinkInAzul in the Valencian Community among the most influential in the world
Stanford University has published the 2023 edition of the “World’s Top 2% Scientist List”. This “ranking” classifies researchers according to their results over their entire research career and only over the last year.
A total of 14 researchers from the Valencian Community’s Next Generation Programme in Marine Sciences (GVA-ThinkInAzul) are included in the first list. Of these, 4 are researchers from the CSIC, 4 from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), 2 from the Jaume I University of Castellón (UJI), 2 from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH), 1 from the University of Alicante (UA) and 1 from the University of Valencia (UV)/CSIC. Of these, 43% are female researchers.
The second list highlights the impact achieved by researchers in the last year, including 4 more ThinkInAzul researchers from CSIC (2) and UPV (2). All of them are young and 50% are female researchers.
This recognition highlights the talent of each of these researchers, as well as the international impact that the ongoing research of ThinkInAzul Valencia is expected to have.
