The research carried out by the FISH INTAKE CONTROL research group at the Torre la Sal Aquaculture Institute focuses on the characterization and regulation of the neural systems involved in the regulation of intake and energy balance in fish. Our objective is to deepen our understanding of the main regulatory aspects: homeostatic, hedonic, and temporal, and how the different systems communicate and integrate peripheral information (environmental and physiological) to generate a unified response: feeding behavior.
